From Helping Hands to Lifelong Opportunities

What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into something extraordinary.

Several years ago, a few Sabine High School graduates decided it was time to come together and support classmates in times of need — whether it was offering comfort during illness, standing beside them after the loss of a loved one, or lending a hand during hard times.

As word spread, more alumni joined the effort. What followed was an outpouring of generosity that brought in more donations than ever before. Inspired by this momentum, we asked ourselves: How could we make a lasting impact for future generations of Cardinals?

The answer was clear — invest in the future of Sabine students.

 With renewed energy and a shared vision, we established the 

Sabine High School Alumni Scholarship Endowment

at Kilgore College and The University of Texas at Tyler. The scholarship is open to Sabine High School seniors and graduates who plan to attend Kilgore College or UTTyler to pursue careers in the workforce or a 2 or 4 year degree.  

The Sabine High School Alumni Scholarship Endowment is a 501c3 Texas Nonprofit Corporation, so your contributions are tax deductible. The purpose is to grant college scholarships to graduates of Sabine High School in Liberty City, Texas, who have met predetermined qualifications, such as academic achievement, and/or have financial need, and/or have been involved with and made notable contribution to Sabine High School.
